His character is said to be a patient of Bedelia’s, played by the wonderful Gillian Anderson. Quinto is a phenomenal actor who tends to dial it in when playing characters of the maddening variety; he's a perfect fit for “Hannibal”, even if it is just a single episode.
Michael Pitt was recently replaced by Joe Anderson as Mason Verger with THE HOBBIT star Richard Armitage landing a key role in Season 3 as Francis Dolarhyde, The Toothy Fairy. Nina Arianda will also join the cast as Will’s love interest. “Hannibal” is currently eyeing a return to NBC this summer.
