As if “American Horror Story” couldn’t get any weirder, it has just been revealed Lady Gaga has joined the cast of the latest season, which is apparently being called “American Horror Story: Hotel”. Ms. Gaga was nice enough to make the news official via her Twitter page via a predictably odd teaser. Check it out below.

Naturally, nothing is known about the plot of the new AHS chapter, nor Gaga’s character. The famous singer isn’t known for her acting chops, though she made a slight impression in Robert Rodriguez’s MACHETE KILLS two years ago. She made an even bigger impression the other night at the Oscars when she sang some SOUND OF MUSIC numbers.

“American Horror Story: Hotel” premieres on FX in October.
