Genre favorite Danielle Harris (below, HALLOWEEN) is a bona fide scream queen with her horror-heavy resume, acting talents and good looks. She is now set to go behind the camera for her feature directorial debut, AMONG FRIENDS. The screenplay was written by Alyssa Lobit (THE THINGS WE CARRY).
Harris and Lobit with both act in the film, along with Chris Backus, Jennifer Blanc Biehn, AJ Bowen, Brianne Davis, Dana Daurey, Kamala Jones, Chris Meyer and Tanya Newbould. Jay Lobit and Bill Allison will serve as executive producers. The film is being financed by Three Little Birds and Hollywood Treasures Inc.
A synopsis has not yet been revealed, but the tagline reads “This dinner party’s gonna be killer” while another says “A game of CLUE gone wrong. Like, totally.” Filming is set to begin in early August. Sounds like it could be fun. What do you think?
