Following last week’s announcement that SUBSPECIES would be available on special edition Blu-ray and DVD, Full Moon Features have revealed yet another Comic-Con treat. GINGERDEAD MAN and EVIL BONG box sets will be available at the event, which begins on July 20 in San Diego. The remaining limited edition sets will then be made available for purchase of the Full Moon website.

These sets, which will be sold for $25, will mark fans’ first opportunity to own the two new sequels: GINGERDEAD MAN 3: SATURDAY NIGHT CLEAVER and EVIL BONG 3: THE WRATH OF BONG. If you pass on the sets, Full Moon will still be releasing the latest entries as standard DVDs in September.

GINGERDEAD MAN 3: SATURDAY NIGHT CLEAVER is co-directed by William Butler and Silvia St. Croix and co-written by Butler and Muffy Bolding. The killer cookie travels back in time to 1976, where disco isn’t the only thing that dies.

EVIL BONG 3: THE WRATH OF BONG is directed by Charles Band off a script by first-timer Patrick Klepek. An evil alien bong crashes on earth. Its intent: world domination. Our stoner heroes are sent to the alien bong planet and held captive by nude alien beauties. Their only hope to escape and save planet earth: Eebee, the original Evil Bong.
