THE HILLS HAVE EYES, one of Wes Craven’s best films, will make its anticipated Blu-ray debut on September 6 as part of Image Entertainment’s Midnight Madness Series. It doesn’t appear to house any special features – it will likely be an up-convert from the DVD – but you can check out the cover art below.
The 1977 cult classic is written and directed by master of horror Wes Craven. It stars Susan Lanier, Robert Houston, Martin Speer, Dee Wallace, Russ Grieve, Virginia Vincent, John Steadman, Janus Blythe, Peter Locke, Michael Berryman, James Whitworth and Lance Gordon.
The Carters are an all-American family on their way to California when their car breaks down far from civilization in the remote southwestern desert. But they are not alone.
