Phase 4 Films will release the unrated director’s cut of BLOODRAYNE: THE THIRD REICH on DVD and Blu-ray on July 12. The cover art has not yet been released, but special features will include a making-of featurette, an audio commentary by Uwe Boll and Michael Nachoff, an interview with Nachoff, trailers and a digital download.

Half-vampire, half-human, Rayne hides in the shadows slaughtering vampires and those that get in her way. In 1943 Europe, during World War II, Rayne faces her greatest foe, a growing army of undead Nazi soldiers led by Ekart Brand, a top Nazi official turned day-walker. Rayne must team up with a group of Resistance Fighters to defeat Brand and his vampire troops before they return to Berlin and attempt to transform Hitler into a vampire and attain immortality.

Despite being the third entry in the series, its plot is actually similar to the story of the original BLOODRAYNE video game. The film is once again directed by Uwe Boll (HOUSE OF THE DEAD) with a script by first-timer Michael Nachoff. Natassia Malthe (below), Clint Howard, Michael Paré and Brendan Fletcher star.
