With Thanksgiving nearly upon us, it’s about time to get into the holiday spirit! I have the perfect way for you to celebrate. Peaches Christ Productions is hosting a 30th anniversary screening of CHRISTMAS EVIL on December 11th.
A rare 35mm print of the the 1980 slasher, also known as YOU BETTER WATCH OUT, will be screened at midnight at Landmark’s Bridge Theatre in San Francicso. Writer/director Lewis Jackson will be in attendance. Peaches Christ (ALL ABOUT EVIL) will host the screening and a pre-show extravanza complete with a scary santa costume contest.
Harry Stadling (Brandon Maggert) is obsessed with Christmas! In fact he wants to “be” the authentic Santa Claus, with a real suit, sleigh and reindeer. Ever since he learned the “truth” about Santa, he’s tried to make Christmas a reality. Growing up a toy maker, Harry is met with naysayers and critics who mock him for his yuletide beliefs. but he wants people to get the presents they deserve, even if that means giving the gift of murder! Cynics and uptight hypocrites beware!
