The big news yesterday out of the AVATAR camp was that the film scored it’s official PG-13 rating from the MPAA (check that story out HERE). So what’s new with AVATAR today? How about a 10 minute behind the scenes clip featuring Sam Worthington and Zoe Saldana fighting it out, CGI style!

If you head over to HULU you can check out the new clip, or better yet… check out the new clip below! Courtesy of The Fox Movie Channel, the clip features a few fight/battle scenes as they were shot along with the final look of the scene. No wonder this sucker took so long to make in post-production! The raw footage and the final footage is like night and day!

Seeing what the actors had to act with, and the effort that was done to make it look the way it does, I have even more respect for this film than ever before. Apparently it’s more than just a Smurf-like action movie! Gotta respect that!

Directed by James Cameron, AVATAR star Sam Worthington, Zoe Saldana, Sigourney Weaver, Michelle Rodriguez, and Giovanni Ribisi, and slams into theaters worldwide December 18th. In the meantime, have a blast with the video below!
