Trejo in Predators?

The great Danny Trejo was at Horrorfind Weekend in Maryland this past weekend pimping a bunch of new projects he’s working on, including the upcoming MACHETE. He’s probably in a hundred different horror films coming out later this year, so it makes sense he’d be there hanging out with fans and having a good time.

The boys over at Punch Drunk Critics had a chance to sit down and talk with Trejo, and asked him about everywhere from MACHETE to SIN CITY 2, and what other films he has coming up. In either a slip of the tongue or the mother of all teases, when asked about SIN CITY 2, Trejo responds with “we’re doing Predators next.”

Could this mean that Trejo is in the upcoming PREDATORS? Well yes, yes it could. And why the hell not, right? Trejo’s a badass and could bring a much needed element to the project, not to mention that he’s Robert Rodriguez’s go-to man for pretty much every project he’s involved with in some way or another. It would make sense Trejo would have something to do with PREDATORS, but just what could that something be?

There hasn’t been any official casting announcements from PREDATORS just yet, so take this for what it is… an actor flapping too loosely at the mouth, but one that could possibly be yapping the truth. Trejo in PREDATORS? Sounds good to me!

Head THIS WAY to check out the video interview, and stick around for more PREDATORS (and MACHETE) news as it floats our way!
