To go along with the kick-ass posters for DISTRICT 9 we showed you last week (check those f*cking things out HERE), there’s a whole new batch of the “fake” PSA-style / propaganda-like posters that will likely start surfacing in a town near you as we get close to the film’s release date later this summer.
I’m personally a big fan of the non-humans crossing the boarder poster, mostly cause I love the real-life crossing-the-boarder signs they have sprinkled throughout southern California. Everytime I see one, I laugh my ass off. Maybe I’m an a-hole for it… but still, those things are hilarious, and so is the non-human version.
The Peter Jackson-produced film goes a little something like this: An extraterrestrial race forced to live in slum-like conditions on Earth suddenly find a kindred spirit in a government agent that is exposed to their biotechnology.
I can’t wait. Enjoy the new swag, and get ready for DISTRICT 9 in theaters August 14, 2009.
