For GHOST RIDER fans (that $51 million couldn’t have come from Sony alone) and CGI nuts, there’s an interesting article up on CGSociety which discusses the effects used in the movie with vfx supervisor Kevin Mack.

This one goes into a bit more detail than the video blog that director Mark Steven Johnson had going, and is less on fluff and more on the nuts and bolts of the thing, including showing the various passes the artists did in order to get those CG flames to look just right.

While casual fans might not dig this puppy, those who love making-of stuff on DVDs and CG in general should check this one out. Hit it up here.
