Reap the Passover

If there’s any irony in this move by Warner Bros., it’s pretty easy to see. Today Warner announced that THE REAPING starring Hilary Swank was shuffled from its original March 30th release date to April 6th. Why is that ironic? Well, for starters, April 3rd to the 9th is the Jewish Passover holiday. THE REAPING tells the tale of a former Christian missionary who must regain her faith to combat dark forces. Okay, so that may not be as ironic as you’d expect, but RECOGNIZE THE IRONY!

Directed by Stephen Hopkins, THE REAPING also stars David Morrissey, Idris Elba, Annasophia Robb and William Ragsdale.
