Alright folks, this is definitely
the cheesiest film I’ve heard of in quite a while, and what kind of good host
would I be if I didn’t share it with all of you.
The movie is called MEDIUM RAW, and is some sort of a modern twist on Little Red
Riding Hood; which is a cool concept in itself, but that’s pretty much where the
coolness ends.
The synopsis basically goes as follows: A detective finally catches the killer
he’s been searching for all his life. (Consequently the killer murdered his
sister as a child.) The killers known as The Wolf, and wears a hydraulic metal
jaw and Wolverinish claws. Once caught he’s placed in an asylum with other
serial killers including a 400lb women cannibal, a schizophrenic named Benny the
Bull who is sent into a fury when he sees the colour red, (another fine example
of how little Hollywood understands mental illness’) and an elderly man who
thinks he can blend into his surroundings and also collects toes.
Somehow the Wolf gets loose while the detective who caught him is in the asylum,
and the power goes out creating all sorts of craziness.
Now I’m all for cheesy horror films, and I’ve seen some really bad ones, but
this one seems so ridiculous it’s not even funny. Alas, I really should let you
decide for yourselves, because as they say “Different strokes for different
folks”. (I’m not sure if this refers to masturbating or not)

Oh and last thing about the trailer. Would someone please explain to me why
there is someone with supersonic screaming power in it. It’s not mentioned
anywhere in any synopsis I read and that seems a little out of place for the
film.
