Off to the land of Eyre we go! Ireland On-Line reports that director Michael Basset will lens his next horror project, WILDERNESS, in Northern Ireland at the the end of the month. The flick will follow a group of reform school inmates who are sent to a tough boot camp where they are picked off by a mysterious stalker. Hey, short but sweet. Sounds like good times to me.
Starring Sean Pertwee and Alex Reid, pic is budgeted at almost 3 million euro. Hopefully some of that money will be spent flying yours truly out to the set for an exclusive visit with the cast, crew and time with the most amazing country I’ve ever visited.
And since I’m wishing on that particular rainbow, perhaps Elle MacPherson could be my assistant while I’m there too.
Returning to the realm of the possible for a moment, though, I think we can all agree, sight unseen, that this should easily be a big step toward making up for the LEPRECHAUN franchaise.
