Fresh off of starring as Malcolm X in Regina King's One Night in Miami, Kingsley Ben-Adir has been cast in Marvel Studios' Secret Invasion series. Ben-Adir will play a lead opposite Samuel L. Jackson's Nick Fury and Ben Mendelsohn's Talos. Reports indicate that Ben-Adir will play a lead villain on the show.

Secret Invasion is, of course, based on the crossover Marvel comic event of the same name. The story revolves around a faction of shape-shifting Skrulls who have been living on Earth for years. They could be anyone: Your friends, neighbors, or even your significant other. If trust issues are a thing for you, I pray that you never encounter a Skrull.

It's early days for Secret Invasion, so little is known about how Marvel plans to pull off the iconic event on the small screen. That said, the story is bound to keep Marvel fans guessing, as anyone, even Earth's Mightiest Heroes could be a Skrull in disguise.

Hold onto your butts, True Believers, because a lot can happen between now and the events of Secret Invasion. There's no telling who could show up in shows like The Falcon and the Winter Soldier, Ms. Marvel, Hawkeye, She-Hulk, and even Marvel's feature-length releases. In other words, we could be looking at a lot of big-name characters for this one. Get your Marvel Casting Bingo cards ready!
