He's back! The man behind the mask. It was only a few weeks back that I did a countdown of the Top Five Best Rock N' Roll Songs from Horror Movies and Alice Cooper snagged the top spot. You can check out that list HERE!

There are few rockers out there that have the cred in the horror community like Alice Cooper. The man has not only contributed some of the top tracks to horror flicks – with FRIDAY THE 13TH: PART VI: JASON LIVES being my personal favorite – but the man's music has been featured in more movies than I can count.

On top of that Cooper has starred, or more specifically had badass cameos in a plethora of fright flicks including John Carpenter's PRINCE OF DARKNESS and FREDDY'S DEAD: THE FINAL NIGHTMARE, where he played Krueger's daddy dearest.

Today we have news Cooper is set to release a new album soon – his first since 2011's Welcome 2 My Nightmare – and we have the album's title and cover to share!

Hell, yeah! Did you catch that bit about a new single hitting on June 9th? Nice. How about that typo? Meh. Maybe the single really is called “PARANOIC PERSONALITY”. Stranger things have happened in the world of Alice Cooper.

On top of his Twitter reveals, Cooper talked with UltimateClassicRock.com about his new record and what us fans can expect from the man at this point.

Alice Cooper on PARANORMAL:

This is not a normal Alice record. [Producer] Bob [Ezrin] and I decided, no theme this time — we’re gonna make a record of things that just get us off, things that we like. And it might go in a lot of directions.

Sounds good to me. Cooper doesn't need themes or gimmicks at this point anyhow. Currently, Cooper is on tour and will be joining up with DEEP PURPLE (remember them?) for yet another tour this June.
