We got a heads up about a new horror comic anthology that I think you may be interested in, one that deals with the horror from a variety of viewpoints, visions, stories, and artists. It’s called ASYLUM OF HORRORS, and if you’re into the graphic novel medium to get your horror groove on, this shit may be up your alley.

With one issue under their belt and going strong, the July issue is getting prepped for its release and boy does it look sweet. Rockin’ the Bride of Frankenstein on the cover, the biggest news to hit the second issue is that iconic horror artist/writer Tim Vigil is now on board. Who’s that, you ask? Ahem….

Tim Vigil burst into the comic book scene with co creator David Quinn in the early nineties with the creation of the horror comic “Faust”. Detailed artwork and Vigil’s over the top story line captured comics fans interest and held it tight for the better part of a decade. Vigil has gone on to work with Avatar Press, Glenn Danzig and many others. “Nominated for awards, works published all over the world, Tim is a god,” explained Asylum Press Publisher Frank Forte. “You say the word Faust to any comic horror fan and they smile.”

Still intrigued? Wanna see more of what ASYLUM OF HORRORS has to offer? Look no further than the comic’s OFFICIAL WEBSITE, and even get a glimpse at a few panels / page layouts of what you can expect from this issue. Think classic TALES FROM THE CRYPT from different artists and points of view. Cool shit!
