Brooklyn Nine-Nine, NCB, podcast

Noice! Terry loves podcasts almost as much as he loves yogurt!

It's been announced that one of my favorite shows of all time, BROOKLYN NINE-NINE, is getting an official podcast alongside of the show's Season 7 launch on NBC! With all episodes being made available for your listening pleasure on February 3, the six-part series will investigate the on and off-screen history of the NBC comedy.

Instead of exploring the details of new episodes on a week-by-week basis, “Brooklyn Nine-Nine: The Podcast” will dedicate its six episodes to a previous season of the show. As a part of the toit presentation, the show will be hosted by Marc Evan Jackson, and will feature interviews with co-creator Dan Goor as well as select members of Brooklyn's 99th precinct. If Jackson's name sounds familiar, it's because he plays Capt. Raymond Holt's husband, Kevin Cozner, on the show. He's also the voice behind “The Good Place: The Podcast,” which delves into yet another smart and outrageous comedy courtesy of the NBC network.

Those of you who're are looking forward to the podcast should know that it will cover a variety of topics, such as the show’s origins and early adjustments. Furthermore, the debut episode will explore the casting process behind the series, thus revealing actors who'd declined an invitation to assume some of the most celebrated roles belonging to the NBC series. The podcast will also perform an Amy and Holt-level investigation of the history of the show’s pilot and the changes that were made before the first episode hit the beat. Also to be included as a part of the first six episodes is a hard look at the processes behind essential character developments, cast member’s favorite episodes, and anecdotes hailing from the set of one of comedy's most inclusive, clever, and heart-warming series.

If this isn't enough to get you to shout Nine-Nine, allow me to remind you that BROOKLYN NINE-NINE will return with two brand-new episodes for its Season 7 premiere at 8 p.m. ET on NBC. Nine-Nine!
