In the post-apocalyptic future of THE BOOK OF ELI, Denzel Washington is the hero tasked with protecting a sacred book that could save the tattered remnants of humanity. But more importantly, he gets to spend quality time with warrior gal Mila Kunis. Humanity, whatever. Priorities!

Gary Oldman gnaws the environment as the despot of a small shanty town deficient of standard necessities, services and laws.The movie is directed by the long-absent Hughes Brothers (DEAD PRESIDENTS, FROM HELL) and also stars Ray Stevenson, Jennifer Beals, Michael Gambon and Tom Waits.
