If you have been collecting the fantastic "Star Wars Art Series" books over the last few years then you might want to check out what they saved for the fifth and final book, posters! They have collected the best artwork covering all six STAR WARS theatrical releases, as well as the Droids and Clone Wars animated television series, gallery exhibitions, fan-club exclusives, video games and limited-edition posters. The collection also includes several unseen concept sketches for the original trilogy, some of which we have for you below.
The final book was authored and edited by Jonathan Rinzler who said:
“This was not really a research book; George really wanted to show the posters without credits. He wanted to highlight the art. So my job was to try and find the actual artwork or layered artwork so we could take off the credits so you could see the artwork for what it is.”
