We have an EXCLUSIVE clip from the upcoming heist action film A Day to Die, starring Bruce Willis, Frank Grillo, Leon Robinson, and Kevin Dillon, and it looks like Willis and Robinson are up to no good in this first look.
In the clip titled “Lucifer’s Left His Lair”, it looks like we’re getting a glimpse into the corruption that should prove to be a significant plot point of the film. Directed by Wes Miller, the film’s premise follows a disgraced parole officer that is indebted to a local gang leader and is forced to pull off a series of dangerous drug heists within twelve hours in order to pay the $2 million dollars he owes, rescue his kidnapped wife, and settle s score with the city’s corrupt police chief, who is working with the gang leader and double-crossed him years ago. The film also stars Gianni Capaldi, Brooke Butler, Johnny Messner, and Bernon Davis.
Principal Photography on the film began in Jackson, Mississippi in March 2021, as the first feature to be shot in the city last year. Filming wrapped after six weeks in April, with the final scenes being shot in Hawkins Field Airport. In May 2021, Vertical Entertainment acquired distribution rights to the film.
