Clash of Titans director?

JoBloJoBlo

I’m sure a lot of people are against the idea of remakes – especially when they concern a movie as beloved as CLASH OF THE TITANS – but I like to give new approaches a chance. Hell, the Nic Cage version of GONE IN SIXTY SECONDS is one of my favorite guilty pleasures. However, I think whether you’re for or against remakes, this news should make you feel a little better: it’s being reported that the man to bring this project to the screen is none other than Sam Raimi.

If you haven’t seen CLASH, it’s the story of Perseus (the son of Zeus), who has to save Princess Andromeda from a monster, find the fabled winged horse Pegasus, defeat the Medusa and a bunch of other stuff that’s all really cool. I guess now all we have to do is find someone who can fill Lawrence Olivier’s shoes. That shouldn’t be hard, huh?
