The trailer for BEST MAN DOWN, a new high-concept dramedy starring Justin Long, Tyler Labine, Jess Weixler, Addison Timlin, Shelley Long, and Frances O'Connor has gone online, featuring a unique twist on what starts off like a typical romcom. It looks like a part comedy, part drama (hence, dramedy) that's quirky and engrossing enough to cover the indie-pic gamut.

Here's the synopsis:
The best man at Scott (Long) and Kristin's (Weixler) Arizona destination wedding, Lumpy (Labine) is the life of the party, until a long, indulgent night leads to his untimely death. Forced to cancel their honeymoon and fly back to Minneapolis to arrange for his funeral, Scott and Kristin meet Ramsey (Timlin) and learn that Lumpy isn't quite who they thought he was.
Justin Long has had a strong career in pics like this, while dabbling in mainstream fare as well (LIVE FREE OR DIE HARD), while his co-star, Tyler Labine, has been slowly building a niche in the low-budget comedy genre with flicks like TUCKER & DALE VS. EVIL, RAPTURE-PALOOZA, and the Reaper TV show. Both are fun to watch and are familiar enough to garner some attention and this looks well in line with their body of work.
BEST MAN DOWN will have a limited theatrical run on November 8, 2013 and will hit iTunes early release on October 3, 2013.
