Great title sequences haven't been quite as plentiful as I would like in recent years, but we can always rely on the fan community to bring us some stunning renditions of title sequences that could have been, or title sequences for films that have yet to have been made. Alex Silver's stunning take on the title sequence for Marvel's DOCTOR STRANGE clearly falls into the latter category but if something similar winds up in the actual film, I would not be disappointed.
Marvel's upcoming film centering on the Sorcerer Supreme won't begin production until November of this year, but even at this early stage Marvel is throwing quite the cast together. We all know that Benedict Cumberbatch will be filling the high collars of Doctor Stephen Strange, but other cast-members include Chiwetel Ejiofor as Baron Mordo and Tilda Swinton has been in talks to portray The Ancient One. Scott Derrickson (SINISTER) will direct. Bring it on.
DOCTOR STRANGE will open in theaters on November 4, 2016.
