In case you haven’t noticed yet, it’s an election year here in the United States.
I’m not going to use this time to speak about the state of the race, but I will let you know that HBO is entering the fray and allowing your voice to be heard in what they are calling The GOT Party.
Four candidates are running for some sort of leadership in this fictional primary, each with their own unique running mates, and it’s up to you to vote as to who will emerge victorious from this campaign season.
Heading over to TheGOTParty.com will allow you to cast your ballot for the tickets of Daenerys Targaryen/Tyrion Lannister, Jon Snow/Lyanna Mormont, Cersei Lannister/Qyburn or Petyr Baelish/Sansa Stark.
You can vote once per day throughout August with the votes tallied up to declare a winner on September 1.
In the grand scheme of things, I don’t know that this actually means anything, but at the very least it’ll keep you engaged with your GAME OF THRONES fandom for a little while until Season Seven arrives next summer.
