Cool Videos: Jurassic Park 3D gets an honest trailer mocking 3D post conversions

JURASSIC PARK is a hard movie to make fun of, but somehow the Honest Trailers guys found a way to do it. The humor in this trailer mostly centers on the JURASSIC PARK 3D re-release rather than the movie itself. The items they do mock are essentially the elements that do not hold up after 20 years. Holy crap, JURASSIC PARK came out two decades ago!

JURASSIC PARK 3D is one post-conversion I am considering checking out, mainly because the movie holds up so well in terms of the special effects. Steven Spielberg threw in enough gotcha moments into the movie that if the 3D was done well it might actually be pretty badass.

After watching this video, you may find that many of the nitpicks you have with JURASSIC PARK are included here (the kids in peril, the product placement, etc). Overall, it is all in good fun.

JURASSIC PARK 3D hits theaters on April 5, 2013.
