Last month we told you all about the
Canadian remake of NOTLD. Well now the thriller film that NOTLD director/writer
Reese Eveneshen did before the remake, ESCALATION is now playing, and based on
what’s seen in the trailers, it looks pretty cool.
The story goes as follows:
Escalation follows the story of three friends who commit a brutal and grisly
crime. They try everything to make sure nobody can trace the murder back to
them. “These three were young, they were obviously scared of what the
consequences of their actions would be. It’s a shame they went to the extreme
measures that they did to cover it up. But often the most terrifying thing is
human brutality.
The film is playing in several
Canadian theatres, which can be found on the official ESCALATION website
here. The site also has both the teaser and
official trailers for the film. It’s been getting some great reviews, and looks
