Evans as Lee

JoBloJoBlo

Throughout the filming of his graphic novel adaptation SCOTT PILGRIM VS THE WORLD, director Edgar Wright has been consistently releasing character images on his blog; a technique that has only served to build anticipation for his film.

In case you’re unfamiliar with the story, it centers on Scott Pilgrim (Michael Cera), who must battle his new girlfriend’s seven evil ex-boyfriends in order to win her heart. One of her ex-boyfriends is Lucas Lee (Chris Evans), a pro-skateboarder turned self-absorbed movie star who in the graphic novel seems to be a parody of Luke Wilson. Based on the new image released by Wright however–which features promotional material from some of Lee’s big budget films–Lee seems to be more of a “Chris Evans” type, than look a “Luke Wilson”. Makes sense, I guess.
