No, that’s not chocolate (or the other stuff that’s brown)…

With a relatively low buzz going on for the film, you have to wonder just how HANNIBAL RISING will be received when it hits February 9th. Hannibal is no longer the loveable Anthony Hopkins, all the proverbial wind from SILENCE OF THE LAMBS and HANNIBAL is long gone, and RED DRAGON kind of left the series dead in the water.

Nevertheless, the money keeps calling, and here we are. If you head on over to Yahoo! Movies, you can check out the final domestic trailer for HANNIBAL RISING, including Gaspard Ulliel forking a guy (no, it’s not the other word). Directed by Peter Webber, the film also stars Gong Li, Rhys Ifans, Kevin McKidd and Anthony Hopkins cashing a che-, I mean, providing a voiceover.
