First clip from Self/less featuring Ben Kingsley and Matthew Goode

Today we have the first clip from Tarsem’s upcoming sci-fi thriller SELF/LESS, which stars Ben Kingsley, Ryan Reynolds and Matthew Goode. In the clip, Goode’s clearly duplicitous salesman takes Kingsley on a tour and shows off his company’s wares… which happen to be healthy young bodies that act as empty vessels for wealthy senior citizens. Creepy!

SELF/LESS focuses on…

an extremely wealthy man (Academy Award winner Ben Kingsley) dying from cancer who undergoes a radical medical procedure that transfers his consciousness into the body of a healthy young man (Ryan Reynolds). But all is not as it seems when he starts to uncover the mystery of the body’s origin and the organization that will kill to protect its cause.

I still consider this movie a blatant ripoff of John Frankenheimer’s SECONDS, but what do I know..?

Also starring Natalie Martinez, Victor Garber, Derek Luke and Michelle Dockery, SELF/LESS opens July 10th.
