First Cut 2022: The Best Movies Coming Out This Year

2022 is upon us and it’s shaping up to be a big year at the movies. As the theatrical experience continues to rebound from the ravages of the pandemic, the year looks to be a true return to form for moviegoing so it feels like no better time to present you with a First Cut 2022 trailer mash-up of the best movies coming out this year!

I know I’m looking forward to seeing the Dark Knight return to the big screen in The Batman this March and it looks like horror will be present and accounted for with releases like Scream, The Black Phone, and Halloween Ends. Are you a Marvel fan? 2022 has got you covered with some big MCU releases on deck like Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness and Thor: Love & Thunder but DC is also showing up with the likes of The Flash, Black Adam, and Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom. There are also some highly anticipated directorial efforts coming from Jordan Peele (Nope). Olivia Wilde (Don’t Worry Darling), Martin Scorsese (Killers of the Flower Moon), and Ari Aster (Disappointment Blvd). 2022 will also give us a double-dose of Tom Cruise with the release of Top Gun: Maverick and Mission: Impossible 7.
