Maggie Grace, she of former “Lost” fame, has signed on to star alongside Liam Neeson in the thriller TAKEN. Grace will play the daughter of Neeson’s character who is kidnapped and forced into the slave trade. Neeson, a pissed off daddy and former spy, hops into action and kicks…some…ASS. Kinda sounds like the first season of “24” no? TAKEN is a co-production between Fox and Luc Besson’s Europa Corp., a teaming that has brought us such fine feature films as TAXI and KISS OF THE DRAGON. Grace has been laying low since “Lost” and the stinker that was THE FOG. Her upcoming films include THE JANE AUSTEN BOOK CLUB and SUBURBAN GIRL with Sarah Michelle Gellar and Alec Baldwin. TAKEN will be directed by Pierre Morel who previously worked with Besson on DISTRICT 13. Filming will begin in France later this month.
