Nothing like Christmas to bring on the holiday cheer, and in some cases, even a killer screening or two to remind us what Christmas is all about: Christmas-themed movies. And more specifically, horror-themed Christmas movies. There are a few traditional films every year I try to partake in, and now thanks to Summer Camp Cinema, I can knock 2 off my list in one shot!
On Saturday, December 26th, Summer Camp Cinema in New York is rocking a special holiday double feature starting at 11pm. The films? GREMLINS followed by SILENT NIGHT, DEADLY NIGHT! Talk about the ultimate horror-filled holiday double feature!
A double feature like that, presented in glorious 35mm at the Cinema Arts Centre in Huntington, NY, doesn’t come around too often. Almost makes me wish I lived in New York, cause I would totally hit this shit up, yo! And for $12 a ticket, you can’t really go wrong.
