The new face of evil?

In another one of those ‘take this with a grain of salt’ moments, the ever-reliable IMDB has updated their section on the Rob Zombie HALLOWEEN remake/reimagining to include the potential casting of a young Michael Myers!

The candidate is one Daeg Faerch, who is no stranger to horror in 2007, being involved in FREAKSHOW and the thriller SHUT IN last year. Now, since the IMDB as of right now is the only site reporting this news at the moment, don’t take it as fact. As well, don’t think that just because IMDB lists the film being shot in Vancouver, doesn’t mean it to be so, at least according to a source that chatted it up with Dread Central.

The anonymous source states that location scouting was being done in South Pasadena by Zombie and crew, indicating a possible return to where the original was shot, despite Rob’s desire to shoot in a real Midwestern town. Again, take both of these with a grain of salt, though according to Now Casting, young Faerch’s next film has him attached to HALLOWEEN. Stay tuned.
