28 Weeks Later director and Shia LaBeouf set for Villain

Deadline reports that Start Motion Pictures has set 28 WEEKS LATER director Juan Carlos Fresnadillo to helm VILLAIN which will star Shia LaBeouf. The film is a psychological thriller written by Josh Zetumer who is also the scribe behind the upcoming ROBOCOP remake.

VILLAIN follows two brothers who mysteriously re-connect in an unforgiving wilderness.

Ah, gotta love those one sentence plot details! It's not much to go on just yet but it's certainly a start. The role of the brother is expected to be cast shortly so we'll keep you guys posted on that. Start Motion Pictures’ Ben Browning, Sarah Shepard and Jeremy Kipp Walker will produce, and Michael Maher will executive produce with Zetumer.
