Vertical Entertainment is set to give the horror film THE HOLLOW CHILD a theatrical and VOD release on May 18th, and in anticipaton of this a trailer has arrived online to give a preview of the creepy kid tale.

The feature debut of director Jeremy Lutter, THE HOLLOW CHILD was written by Ben Rollo, inspired by the changeling creatures of folklore. The film's synopsis:

Highly intelligent and malicious creatures known as The Hollow Ones live in the Woods and entice children with their hypnotic folklore music. Samantha, a young foster teen must fight to expose these dangerous supernatural impostors and save her younger sister who has been taken, otherwise her soul will be lost forever.

Jessica McLeod, Hannah Cheramy, and John Emmet Tracy star.

The concept of children being captured and replaced by evil creatures is a very unnerving one, and it looks like Lutter has done well bringing the idea to the screen.

Check out the trailer for THE HOLLOW CHILD below, and if you like what you see get ready to check out the full film next week.
