A trailer is summoned for Quentin Lee’s The Unbidden

Last Updated on July 21, 2021

Fans of '80s action may remember Julia Nickson as Sylvester Stallone's tragic love interest in RAMBO: FIRST BLOOD PART II, '90s kids may know her as the teacher from the Chuck Norris movie SIDEKICKS, but there will be no action heroes around as she faces the horrors of director Quentin Lee's THE UNBIDDEN.

There are four longtime friends at the center of the story; friends who are portrayed by Nickson, Tamlyn Tomita, Amy Hill, and Elizabeth Sung in modern day and by Michelle Krusiec, Akemi Look, Kimberly-Rose Wolter, and Karin Anna Cheung in flashbacks. These eight actresses are joined in the cast by Hayden Szeto and Jason Yee.

Scripted by Narhee Ahn, THE UNBIDDEN is

a supernatural thriller about four best friends who get together for a spirit-settling seance the night before Halloween and are intruded upon by a young man who claims that one of them is his mother. The intruder unravels a past crime that has been haunting them for two decades.

THE UNBIDDEN will soon be making the festival rounds, and a trailer has been released online to help drum up interest in it as it heads out into the world. You can check that out right here:
