Andrew Lincoln promises there will be blood on the season finale of The Walking Dead

Last Updated on August 5, 2021

While most of us don’t mind the drama on “The Walking Dead” (as long as it doesn’t take a 3-episode arc filled with more dialogue than action to work through it), the real reason we tune in is for the zombie carnage, blood and gore. With the season finale of TWD creeping up on us this Sunday and the war with the Governor looming (and you know it’s gonna be worth the wait!), series star Andrew Lincoln just dropped some spoilerish nuggets of insight as to what we can expect to see when he spoke with Rolling Stone. You want a bodycount? You’ll get a bodycount!

Lincoln shares with Rolling Stone:

“Twenty-seven people die. It’s safe to say it is all hands to pumps. It’s a crazy season finale.”

Of those twenty-seven bodies to drop, it’s safe to assume the vast majority will be a good portion of Woodbury, but with this show you can never tell whose time is up (just look at what happened last week!).

The season finale, titled ‘Welcome to the Tombs’ airs on AMC Sunday night at 9/8central.
