British hottie Juno Temple joins Angie & gang for Maleficent

Filming this summer in London is MALEFICENT, the Angelina Jolie starring live-action take on the Sleeping Beauty baddie. Robert Stromberg is directing from a script by Linda Woolverton, studding the production with a who’s who of British acting talent. So why stop now?!

THR has it that British ingenue Juno Temple (shown), who has like 68 films in the works at the moment, is the latest to join the cast of MALEFICENT. In specific, Temple would join Imelda Staunton and Lesley Manville as the three pixie fairies in the classic fairy tale who are tasked with taking care of Aurora in the cottage in the woods. Temple will play Thistletwit, who — like the other pixies, Knotgrass and Flittle — is neglectful and superficial.

Miranda Richardson, Kenneth Cranham , Sam Riley, Elle Fanning and Sharlto Copley will also star.

For Temple, she’ll soon be seen in JACK & DIANE, THE DARK KNIGHT RISES, MAGIC MIKE and LOVELACE, among many others. Kid’s on quite the uptick!
