BTS look at Annabelle 2, teaser announcement coming soon

ANNABELLE 2 has wrapped principal photography, and director David F. Sandberg seems confident we'll be getting our first look soon. In his most recent Tweet, he wrote "Get ready for an announcement teaser tomorrow!" It's unclear whether or not we'll be getting a teaser tomorrow or an announcement of the date we'll be getting the teaser, but it will be interesting to see if this sequel goes the OUIJA 2 route of actually looking like it will be pretty good.

In the same Tweet, Sandberg shared a behind-the-scenes photo of him doing some hands-on directing with the title actress. I don't know if I'd be able to keep so calm with that horrendous thing inches from my face. Check it out below!

The script, written by original screenwriter Gary Dauberman, revolves around:

a dollmaker and his wife who, 20 years after the death of their little girl, welcome a nun and several orphan girls into their home. Unfortunately, the new guests soon become the targets of the dollmaker’s possessed creation, Annabelle. 

ANNABELLE 2 stars Miranda Otto, Stephanie Sigman, Talitha Bateman, Anthony LaPaglia, Lulu Wilson, Philippa Anne Coulthard, Grace Fulton, Lou Lou Safran, Samara Lee, and Tayler Buck. The film is set to haunt theaters on May 19, 2017.
