CBS Films announced today it has acquired the U.S. distribution rights to the action thriller ENDS OF THE EARTH, which is evidently has a found footage angle. It’s also got vampires!

Ends of the Earth follows two best friends on a whirlwind trip around the world. Things take a turn for the surreal when they encounter an impossible phenomenon that will change one of them forever.

ENDS OF THE EARTH was written and directed by Derek Lee and Clif Prowse. Chris Ferguson and Zach Lipovsky produced the film with backing by Telefilm Canada. IM Global’s Stuart Ford, Automatik’s Brian Kavanaugh-Jones and Alliance’s Charles Layton are on board as executive producers.

Flick is currently shooting in Europe. Footage was screened in L.A. last week to buyers; evidently it impressed!

CBS Films had themselves a domestic hit earlier this year with THE WOMAN IN BLACK. They’ve got Takashi Shimizu’s 7500 coming up soon, although its release date is currently up in the air (pun intended).
