Chilling Adventures of Sabrina concept art previews a woodsy vision

Sabrina the Teenage Witch is getting a dark reboot courtesy of Netflix, with the streaming service having ordered two seasons of a series titled Chilling Adventures of Sabrina, which is expected to have a tone similar to ROSEMARY'S BABY and THE EXORCIST.

If you haven't read the Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa comic book this show will be based on and are having trouble imagining what a dark version of the wholesome, kid-friendly Sabrina property would look like, some concept art has arrived online to offer an idea of this new show will have to offer. 

Shared by Aguirre-Sacasa himself, the artwork is from a "woods vision" sequence and has a very dark and scary look to it. Sabrina definitely looks to be going horror with these Chilling Adventures.

This new series will 

see Sabrina wrestling to reconcile her dual nature as a half-witch, half-mortal  while standing against the evil forces that threaten her, her family, and the daylight world humans inhabit.

The seasons Netflix has ordered will each consist of 10 episodes.

Aguirre-Sacasa previously put a dark television twist on a different Archie Comics property with The CW's Riverdale.
