Cool Horror Gear: My Pet Monster vinyl figure

I don't know about you, but I sure as hell had a MY PET MONSTER back in the day and took that ugly sumbitch everywhere. He was kind of like a horror entry in my TEENAGE MUTANT NINJAS TURTLES collection of shite.

But while TMNT merch is still readily available all over the world, MY PET MONSTER has kinda fallen off the radar. Until now, that it.

Creepy Co. is set to launch a series of 500 classic My Pet Monster vinyl figures and I know I am going to be trying to get my hands on one asap. That said, there isn't currently a release date set for the figure or a price, but we'll make sure to keep you guys up-to-date on those aspects as time goes on – and I'd imagine Creepy Co. will be announcing said aspects sooner rather than later, so stay tuned!

Hybridizing various character iterations over the 3-decade span of his existence, our semi-articulated toy takes cues from the classic form, both in construction and color. We’ve sprinkled in hints of “Neo Kaiju” and a reference or two to the time-weathered 1986 plush toy: the missing length of chain hearkens back to our own Monster’s forever-lost cuffs, and the smoothness of the form itself calls out years of tamped-down fur from his watchpost on our shelves.
