Dueling close-ups: Elizabeth Olsen in Silent House & Amanda Seyfried in Gone

Last Updated on July 23, 2021

Since only a single new snap from each have been distributed, I figured why not pair them together and incite and competitive catfight of close-ups?!? Sounds fun, right?!?

Below you’ll find two new images, one of Elizabeth Olsen in the horror flick SILENT HOUSE, the other of Amanda Seyfried in the serial killer flick GONE. Both flicks hit in the first quarter of the calendar, and as we refresh your memory as to what the flicks are about…I say we opine about which fair-haired beauty has a more promising future to watch. Or hell, if you want to go the shallow route, just tell us which you’d rather cuddle up with. Weigh in underneath!

Due February 24th, GONE revolves around a young woman named Jill (Seyfried) who returns home from her night shift to find her sister’s bed empty. She’s convinced the serial killer who kidnapped her two years before has come back to finish the job. But the police do not believe Jill, who knows time is running out. With no one to turn to, she sets off to find her sister and face her abductor once and for all.

Opening March 9th is SILENT HOUSE, a uniquely unsettling horror thriller starring Elizabeth Olsen as Sarah, a young woman who finds herself sealed inside her family’s secluded lake house. With no contact to the outside world, and no way out, panic turns to terror to terror as events become increasingly ominous in and around the house. Directed by filmmaking duo Chris Kentis and Laura Lau, SILENT HOUSE uses meticulous camera choreography to take the audience on a tension-filled, real time journey, experienced in a single uninterrupted shot.
