A.D. Calvo’s THE MELANCHOLY FANTASTIC is headed to VOD, available on April 6th! To help celebrate it’s upcoming release, we have a brand new spooky and exclusive still to share with you below (click to enlarge). The film is apparently the first in a ‘gothic mental illness trilogy’ from Calvo, sounds rather appealing to me!
The plot details aren’t too detailed, but they are enough to wet your appetite: Against the objections of a life-size paper doll, a delusional young woman falls for a Goth in this unconventional holiday story. The Melancholy Fantastic weaves elements of classical existentialism into a disturbing psychological holiday thriller.
The film stars Amy Crowdis (below), Robin Taylor, Josh Caras, Geneva Carr and David Pirrie.
