First Look: AMC's The Terror from Ridley Scott

Last November we let you guys know that AMC's upcoming horror anthology series THE TERROR has scored such big names as Jared Harris, Tobias Menzies, and Ciarán Hinds to name a few. And today we have your first look at the 10-episodes series from Ridley Scott and based on the novel by Dan Simmons.

The Terror captures a rare combination of fascinating history, complex and flawed characters, the inextinguishable human spirit and the horror and promise of an uncharted world. We are looking forward to bringing viewers into this world in March.

THE TERROR synopsis:

The suspenseful series follows the Royal Navy as it embarks on a dangerous journey into uncharted territory in order to discover the Northern Passage. All the while they struggle to survive treacherous conditions, limited resources, frostbite, fear of the unknown, dwindling hope, frostbite, and, probably worst all, each other.

The series stars Jared Harris, Tobias Menzies, Ciarán Hinds, Paul Ready, Adam Nagaitis, Nive Nielsen, Ian Hart, and Trystan Gravelle. And is executive produced by David Kajganich, Soo Hugh, David W. Zuker, Alexandra Milchan, Scott Lambert, and Guymon Casady.

THE TERROR begins on AMC on March 26 at 9 p.m.
