Recall that FROM DUSK TILL DAWN television show that was brought up back in May? Robert Rodriguez was evidently prepping the series for his new El Rey network. At the time, this seemed like a farfetched idea, and I subsequently thought nothing of it… But, lo and behold, it appears as though this bloodsucker has got life in it.

ProductionWeekly's Twitter account sent out the following update over the weekend: "The TV adaptation of @Rodriguez & Quentin Tarantino‘s FROM DUSK TILL DAWN for @Elreynetwork will begin filming in Austin mid-October."

The series will reportedly explore and expand on the characters and story from the original film, providing a wider scope and richer Aztec mythology.
