Frosty psychological thriller The Frozen acquired by ARC Entertainment

ARC Entertainment has acquired the North American rights to THE FROZEN, a psychological thriller directed by Andrew Hyatt.

After a harrowing snowmobile accident, a young couple is stranded in the woods and must survive the elements while waiting for help to arrive. Events take a turn for the worse after the disappearance of Emma’s boyfriend, leaving her on her own to not only battle the elements, but also elude a mysterious man who is tracking her through the forest.

“We’re excited to acquire a film that takes the audience for a ride as the protagonists fight for their survival,” says ARC Entertainment’s CEO Trevor Drinkwater. “Andrew Hyatt has a unique point of view when it comes to storytelling and it is showcased in The Frozen. What an amazing achievement in his first film as a director!”

THE FROZEN stars Brit Morgan (pictured below), Noah Segan and Seth David Mitchell. No release date has been given yet.

Extra Tidbit: Director Andrew Hyatt once wrote a screenplay for CASTLEVANIA that was greenlit, but Paul W.S. Anderson eventually killed it when he came aboard.
