Sometimes a flick comes along, and all you can do is smile. Because it either sounds so cheesy, so awesome or so ridiculously bad that you know you’ll have a blast watching it all and taking it in. Case in point is HALLOWS POINT, a new slasher flick with hotties galore, and a slew of horror veterans to make even the most conservative fan giggle.
POINT stars Tom Nowicki, Christa Campbell, David Naughton , Jim Fitzpatrick, Robin Hines, Angela Austin, and Alexxus Young, and is from director Jeffrey Lynn Ward in his directorial debut. Intrigued yet? Check out the synopsis:“Welcome to Hallows Point… a small town with a terrible past and a

It started as a harmless bet but for a group of Hallows Point High
students, this Halloween will turn into the ultimate nightmare.
Trapped in an abandoned schoolhouse with an evil they helped create,
but cannot defeat, the students are ill-prepared for their last
lesson… in terror!
Twelve high school students lock themselves into an abandoned
schoolhouse on Halloween night and accidentally resurrect their former
biology teacher who was a serial killer. The teacher, Nathanial Raber,
is all too willing to come back and give these poor unfortunate souls
their final exam.”
Yeah. Like I said before, how can you read that and not smile to yourself in how awsomely bad it sounds- but in the most positive way possible! Need more proof? Check out what the director had to say about the serial killer in question:
“Raber starts off as a serial killer but that doesn’t make him
interesting; what makes him interesting is that he was a high school
biology teacher. Here he was, right under the noses of these kids, and
no one suspected he was a monster! Unfortunately, the kids
accidentally resurrect him and he’s all too willing to come back and
teach them a final lesson. I think that ‘biology
teacher-turned-bogeyman’ transition is something that everyone can
relate to; everyone who has gone to high school probably envisioned
one of their teachers as evil or dastardly. I thought that sort of
identification was cool. I didn’t want some huge guy in a hockey mask
who hangs out in the woods, I wanted somebody who intertwines with
your life.”
Not that I don’t like hockey masked psycho’s in the woods, but I must say- I’m pretty sure there was a few teachers in high school that were serial killers. Or at least I thought they were. Anyway, the images producer Bill George provided the site are awesome (hot chicks+anything=good shite), and after hearing what the film’s about, I’m totally there.
