Intrepid Pictures sets FX artist Grzegorz Jonkajtys to helm action thriller The Fourth Horseman

Intrepid Pictures – the team behind THE STRANGERS, THE RAVEN and the upcoming chiller OCULUS – have assigned visual FX maestro Grzegorz Jonkajtys to helm his first feature with the action-thriller THE FOURTH HORSEMAN. Trevor Macy and Marc D. Evans are producing, Mike Karz is executive producing for the company.

Penned by Byron Willinger & Phil DeBlasi, since redrafted by Ryan Engel:

THE FOURTH HORSEMAN picks up when: A young medical intern who is haunted by nightmarish clairvoyant visions of the future, is hunted by three of the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse. He discovers his destiny is to prevent the rise of the Fourth Horseman–Death–and to avert the end of the world.

Pretty solid setup, wouldn’t you say? And we can bet good green this Jonkajtys dude will bring the visual flare, he’s currently working FX for CLOUD ATLAS and PACIFIC RIM…two of the most ambitious projects in (post-)production.  Should be dope!
